To be eligible for employment as a NEMT driver with Singletary Transport, you must meet the following requirements
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Have a clean driving record
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and road safety rules
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Push Wheel Chairs with passenger weighing up to 300lbs
Drivers for the organization must not have any more than two chargeable accidents or moving violations in the past three years, nor a driver’s license suspension or revocation within the past five years.
